PubQuiz á Grand Rokk á degi íslenskrar tungu

Today I am writing the questions for the Pub Quiz to be held on the day of the Icelandic tounge tomorrow at Grand rokk. In Iceland we care so much about our language that we have one special day for it, Nov 16th.

The reason is that on that particular day, in the year 1807, Jonas Hallgrimsson was born. Mr. Hallgrimsson was a poet and if you know one of his poems you can become a member of Iceland's cultural elite! How cool is that!!

Tomorrow's Pub Quiz will be all about Jonas Hallgrimsson and the fun one can have while playing with the Icelandic tounge. Extra prizes because of the tounge-day: Books, CD's and stuff. Ta ta!
