Enski boltinn á ensku.

Since Screen One has revealed that the english ball will be in english next season, here we offer the latest transfer situation for the winning team next season.

In
Alan Smith, below (striker, £7m, Leeds), Gabriel Heinze (defender, £6.9m, Paris St-Germain), Liam Miller (midfielder, free, Celtic), Gérard Pique (defender, undisclosed, Paris St-Germain), Giuseppe Rossi (striker, undisclosed, Parma).

Out
Danny Pugh (midfielder, swap, Leeds), Ben Williams (goalkeeper, free, Crewe).

Possible arrivals
Wayne Rooney (striker, £35m, Everton), Fernando Torres (striker, £10m, Atlético Madrid).

Possible departures
Nicky Butt (midfielder, £4m, Newcastle), Diego Forlán (striker, £2m, Manchester City), Michael Stewart (midfielder, nominal, Rangers), Ricardo (goalkeeper, free).

Personally I would of course like to see Wayne Rooney wear red next season, but I have also been impressed by the spanish Torres. Rooney may prove to be to expensive, as he is still not a 100% guranteed product, even though he's shown occasional flashes of brilliance, most recently at the EM on RÚV, as we call it in Iceland. I am also looking forward to see how Liam Miller, arriving from Glasgow Celtic will perform. I will have to ask my Celtic liason McMaggi about him. Well, more later.

Liam Miller is a brilliant player as he showed in the Champions league last season scoring two goals as coming on as sub. He used to be a crowd favorite at Parkhead but going on a free transfer down south did not impress the supporters at all...but who can blame the lad? He is going to be a big star for United in the future.

When are we getting Roy Keane to Celtic? Keane and Lennon in midfield would be an impressive duo.

Cheers

McMaggi
